I am in the midst of putting together an article that partially analyses some mainstream narratives--particularly sociopolitical ones--and how they mislead us and result in us misinterpreting/misunderstanding our predicament and thus our search/quest/hope for 'solutions'.
HINT: there are no solutions--especially in the sociopolitical realm--to the predicament of ecological overshoot and the unfortunate consequences that will arise (are arising).
